Brief Presentation

Alessandro Ricciutelli, born in Atri (IT), is an architect graduated from the University “G.D’Annunzio” of Chieti – Pescara. His thesis, “The San Biagio’s Temple: a holistic approach to cultural heritage’s analysis, conservation and promotion”, focused on upgrading and testing various steps of a new methodology for cultural heritage’s preservation, monitoring, management and promotion. The final work was presented and published at the 46th National Congress of  “Italian Acoustic Association (AIA)”.

After his graduation he started to collaborate on research projects in the acoustic field with the INGEO department and the Polytechnic University of Ancona, publishing the article “Investigation of wind induced vibration and acoustic performance interactions for a flexible roof through Multiphysics” on “Journal of Building Performance Simulation” with Rizzo F., Zazzini P. and Montelpare S.

At the moment he is a student of the PhD program “Science and Technology for Sustainable Development (STSD). His research program intends to develop and apply a holistic scientific model for the preservation, monitoring, management and promotion of cultural heritage, in full compliance with the sustainability guidelines clearly identified in the UN 2030 Agenda, focusing on overcoming the established methods through the development of a Heritage BIM model for storing a structured collection of multidisciplinary knowledge.
